Funeral services for Max J. Stiarwalt, 59, of Alto, were held Monday, July 20, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment followed in the Alto Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery.
Mr. Stiarwalt went to be with the Lord Friday, July 17, 2020.
Born July 22, 1960, in Fontainebleau, France, he was the son of the late Robert Stiarwalt and Madeleine Stiarwalt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Barney Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Stiarwalt of Alto; daughter, Chancy Burrell of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Brody and Brandi Stiarwalt of Melbourne, Florida; three sisters, France Gosnell of Clarkesville, Bea Morris of Texas, and Corrine Button of Texas; five grandchildren, Madeleine Burrell, Landon Burrell, Peyton Stiarwalt, Jasper Burrell, and Cameron Stiarwalt.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
