Later, my family relocated to the beautiful Hudson valley. I was always known as an artist and never questioned it. I was an aloof child who was deeply interested in people. This drove my need to create a connection through art. At the age of 4, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Having a seizure disorder has shaped my entire life and informs my work, whether it is intentional or not. I am learning to harness this “creative edge.” My hope is to produce honest work that offers a view into the window of a condition that still remains mysterious.
