Glenn ‘Bud’ Asherbranner

Funeral services for Glenn “Bud” Asherbranner, 56, of Demorest, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville, with the Rev. Kenneth Trotter and Jeremy Garmon officiating. Burial will follow in Clarkesville City Cemetery.

Mr. Asherbranner died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013.

He was the son of Martha Gibson Asherbranner and the late Charles Grady Asherbranner. In addition to his father, he also was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Jim Asherbranner; and sisters, Lois Lovell and Doris Scroggs.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Sandra Miller Asherbranner; sons, Brian Thomas Asherbranner and wife Holly Asherbranner of Cleveland, and Brandon Lee Asherbranner of Demorest; sisters, Joyce Shook of Lakemont, and Jane Brown of Clayton; brother, Billy Joe “Pete” Asherbranner of Demorest; grandchildren, McKinley Jade, Brantley Thomas and Bella Jayne Asherbranner.

Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. today, Aug. 28, at the funeral home.

Hillside Memorial Chapel, Clarkesville, is in charge of arrangements.
