A memorial service for Patricia L. Molnar, 72, of Clarkesville, formerly a resident of Clearwater, Fla., for 33 years, was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church with the Rev. Dena Bearl officiating.

Mrs. Molnar died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, following an extended illness.

Born March 7, 1940, in Gary, Ind., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Hesford Dzurko. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Molnar, and her son, John Molnar.

Mrs. Molnar retired from the City of Clearwater, Fla., as a school crossing guard. She was a member of Grace-Calvary Episcopal Church where she was a very dedicated and full- time volunteer.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrie Barefield of Springfield, Mo.; son, Joseph J. Molnar and his fiancé, Mary Liotta, of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Molnar was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
