Funeral services for Sandra Wynette Rice Eller, 55, of Clarkesville, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Stonepile Baptist Church with the Rev. Connie Berry and the Rev. Dan Eller officiating. Burial followed the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Eller died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 5, 1957, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late J.W. and Oveline Nations Rice.

Mrs. Eller was a member of Stonepile Baptist Church and a self-employed farmer. Sandra fought a good and courageous battle until the end of her illness.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Eller; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Tate Hunter, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Bonnie Eller, brother, John Rice, and sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Terry Eller and Dorlyn and Dexter Worley, all of Clarkesville. She is also survived by grandchildren Nicole, Amber, Ashley, Luke, Cassie, Ty, Trace and Tripp.
