Funeral services for Addie Lene Brock Segers, 83, of Baldwin, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, June 20, at the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Segers died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at The Oaks at Scenic View.

Born Sept. 16, 1930, in Banks County, she was a daughter of the late John and Fannie Higgins Brock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Nesbit “Pop” Segers; sons, Melvin Smith and Jerry Segers; son-in-law, the Rev. Garry Garrison; three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Segers was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Segers was retired from the Banks County School System, where she worked in the lunchroom. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Garrison of Alto; son, Milton Smith of Alto; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Deborah Sigers of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Sharon Segers of Cornelia; grandchildren, Graham Garrison, Amanda Poole, Zackary Smith and Shelly Tallent.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 195, Baldwin, GA 30511.
