Memorial services for Betty Elizabeth Grizzle Howard, 76, of Clarkesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Clarkesville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brian Butler officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Howard died April 8, 2012.

Born Feb. 22, 1936, in Montezuma, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Nell Satterfield Grizzle.

Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Homer Lee Howard of Clarkesville; daughters, Miriam H. Thompson of Norcross, Edie H. Jeffas of Scottsville, Ky., and Alice H. Meaders of Loganville; son, Paul Howard of Johns Creek; brothers, Doug Grizzle and Dan Grizzle of Montezuma; as well as two grandchildren.
