Funeral services for Diane Fair, 58, of Cornelia, were held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 1, at Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, with the Rev. Ronald Hooper and the Rev. Rick Casper officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

Mrs. Fair died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, following an extended illness.

Born Dec. 4, 1955, in Lumpkin County, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Willie Nell Lemley Hallman.

She had lived in Cornelia for the past 13 years. She was a homemaker, attended Bible Landmark Church in Cornelia, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

Diane is survived by her husband of 23 years, Evangelist Glenn Fair of Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Kevin Mesa of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Deanna Goss of Tennessee; sister, Mildred Crane of Gainesville; brothers, Ralph Hallman of Dahlonega, Gordon Hallman and Joe L. Hallman, both of Dawsonville, and Steve Junior Hallman of Gainesville; grandson, Tyler Jones; and numerous other relatives.
