Funeral services for Earl Armour, 65, of Lula, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Clarence Reynolds and the Rev. Terry Benfield officiating. Burial followed in Baldwin City Cemetery with the Rev. John Graham officiating.

Mr. Armour died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his residence.

Born May 30, 1948, in Hall County, he was a son of the late Jiles Armour and Bonnie Brown Armour. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Omazell Parson; and brothers, Luther, Larry, Glen, Ricky and Troy Armour.

Mr. Armour attended Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church and was a retired transfer officer with Lee Arrendale State Prison. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, auctions and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Lynda Jamerson Armour of Lula; daughter and son-in-law, Andria and Sinclair Smith of Newborn; grandchildren, Haley, Landon and Mackenzie; brothers, N.C. Armour of Gainesville, Cecil Armour of Homer and Jimmy Armour of Alto; and sisters, Ruby Simmons of Alto and Janice Armour of Cornelia.
