Graveside services for Elizabeth Joann Baker, 51, of Maysville, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Craig Sumitt officiating.

Mrs. Baker died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 20, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Al and Annie Lavon Thompson Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Foster and Ricky Baker.

Mrs. Baker was of the Baptist faith and was a dedicated homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Friend of Maysville; daughter and fiancé, Misty King and Shon Dauphine of Cleveland; daughter, Stephanie Friend of Maysville; son, Clayton Friend of Maysville; sister, Susan Remeau of Dahlonega; brothers, David Baker and Rodney Foster, both of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren.
