Funeral services for Imogene Sosebee Wall, 85, of Oxford, and formerly of Clarkesville, were held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Hillside Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Furman Lewis and the Rev. Tommy Stowe officiating. Burial followed in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Wall died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Oxford.

Born Nov. 22, 1926, in White County, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Stevie Norene Allen Sosebee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Billy Joe Goodman and William Roy Wall, and sister Betty Williams.

Mrs. Wall was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, James A. and Debi Goodman of Bostwick, and Gary Joe and Connie Goodman of Duluth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Ronald Jones, Roberta and John Hagin, and sister, Loyce Guthrie, all of Clarkesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kent and Brenda Sosebee of Demorest, and Donald and Ruth Sosebee of Clermont; grandchildren, Amber Nicole Allen (David) of Monroe, Brent A. Goodman (Melaina) of Madison, Bryan Goodman (Katie) of Canton, Brandon Goodman and Tiffany Goodman of Duluth; as well as great-grandchildren, Synora N. Goodman, Morgan Goodman, Devin Goodman, Hillary McDaniel and Dalton McDaniel.
