Funeral services for Izora Coley Myers, 91, of Alto, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, May 11, at Alto Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Aubrey McIntyre and the Rev. Leon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Myers died Tuesday, May 8, 2012.

Born March 23, 1921, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late Cleve and Arlevy Wade Coley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Brenda Gail Myers and Elaine Myers Manus; her son, Marshall Gene Myers; and her son-in-law, Joel Manus.

Mrs. Myers worked for Habersham County Schools at Baldwin Elementary as a school food service technician for 16 years. She loved to travel and always enjoyed her flowers. Mrs. Myers attended Alto Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 70 years, John H. Myers Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Myers and James Thompson of Alto, Geraldine Myers and Jerry Nunnally of Cornelia, and Carol Myers and Donald Lord of Baldwin; son and daughter-in-law, John Hamilton “Hamp” Myers Jr. and Joyce Ballew Myers of Alto; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy Murrell and Grady Autry of Alto; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six

great-great-grandchildren.
