Mrs. Hudson died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, following a sudden illness.
She was born Oct. 16, 1949, in Demorest. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired real estate agent.
Survivors include her husband, William T. “Bill” Hudson of Gainesville; parents, Milton and Lucille Rice Powell of Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Dennis Ferrier of Nashville, Tenn.; son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Monique Hudson of White; sisters, Pat Powell Parham of Cornelia, Peggy Powell Powers of Lakemont, and Mary Powell Norton of Alto; and five grandchildren, Sophie Hudson, Gabby Hudson, Christian Hudson, GiGi Ferrier and Jack Ferrier.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the funeral hour.
