Mr. Goss died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at a private care facility following an extended illness.
Born May 28, 1925, in White County, he was the son of the late Jessie James and Omie Bell Black Goss. He also was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Goss, and his sisters, Lou Rose Dyer and Lillian Littleton.
Mr. Goss retired from Habersham Mills with 46 years of loyal and dedicated service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his loving wife, Irene Carter Goss of Demorest; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Bill Hulsey and Sylvia and Walter Poole, all of Demorest; sisters, Jeanette Adams of Acworth, and Lura Mae Crumley of Douglasville; grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Lisa Hulsey and Jason and Julie Poole; great-grandchildren, Brandon Hulsey and his wife, Ashlee, and Bradley Hulsey; and one great-great-grandchild, Braydon Hulsey.
