Funeral services for John “Johnny” Ralph Barrett, 70, of Lula, were held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Cole and the Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Burial followed in Hickory Flat United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Barrett died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Fulton County, he was the son of the late John Bevel and Minnie Parson Barrett.

He was a member of First Pentecostal Church and was retired from Martin Mechanical.

Mr. Barrett is survived by his sons, John Barrett of Royston, William Barrett of Jacksonville, Fla., and Keith Barrett of Royston; sister, Paula Dyer of Lula; grandchildren, Cameron, McKayla, Lauren, Lea, Laila and Lane Barrett; four nieces and four nephews.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
