The family will hold a special gathering at the home of Roger Canup (241 Blair Road, Mt. Airy) from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2.
Born April 5, 1956, in Habersham County, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Margaret Ruth Canup.
Mr. Canup worked in construction and was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Tim Ivey of Lula; and his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Diane Canup of Mt. Airy.
