Graveside services for Ruth Snyder Bramlett, 88, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Jan. 15, at Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest, with James T. Bramlett Jr. officiating.

Mrs. Bramlett died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, following an extended illness.

Born Dec. 23, 1925, in Franklin, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Odell and Cora Phillips Snyder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Tolbert Bramlett Sr. She was the last surviving member of her siblings.

Mrs. Bramlett was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Ethicon with 35 years of loyal and dedicated service.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Delores Bramlett of Winder; son, Mike Bramlett Sr. of Cornelia; grandchildren and spouses, Michael Odell Bramlett Jr. and Leah, Becky Bramlett Smith and Shane; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Bramlett, Sophie Bramlett, Ruger Bramlett, Kayla Smith and Brantley Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. today, Jan. 15, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest.
