Funeral services for Walter Bea Loudermilk, 82, of Mt. Airy, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Burial followed in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Keith Kimbrel officiating.

Mrs. Loudermilk died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013.

Born March 21, 1930, in Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mendie Dalton Gunnells. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Loudermilk, and her sister, Ethel Loudermilk.

Mrs. Loudermilk was formerly employed with Carwood Manufacturing and Mt. Vernon Mills. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Keith Kimbrel of Mt. Airy, and Bessie and Buford Brock of Toccoa; grandchildren, Cindy Standridge, Anna Carlan, Abby Kimbrel and D.J. Kimbrel; and great-grandchildren, Alex Waters and Jordan Waters.
