Funeral services for William “Buck” Arnold, 84, of Baldwin, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Mickey Umbehant and the Rev. Odis Dalton officiating. Burial followed in Demorest City Cemetery.

Mr. Arnold died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Buck was born March 17, 1928, in Banks County. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie Wilson Arnold; daughter, Elise Christine Arnold; stepsons, John, Billy, Frank, Donald and Richard Ambrose; stepdaughter, Nell Ambrose Davidson; and a brother, Jim Arnold.

Buck retired from Turner Lumber Company and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Survivors include his stepdaughters and spouses, Kathleen and Spanky Baugh of Lula, and Marilyn and Douglas Simpson of Toccoa; stepson and spouse, Rupert and Mari Ambrose of, Eau Claire, Wisc.; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
