Funeral services for William Richard “Billy” Heimberger, 50, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Heimberger died June 10, 2012, at his residence.

Born March 4, 1962, in Erie, Pa., he was the son of the late Berle and Mae Stephens Heimberger.

Billy was a member of Alto Baptist Church. He was a music enthusiast, having enjoyed song writing and performing.

Surviving are his wife, Tracey Woods Heimberger of Dampier, W. Australia; sons, Lincoln Berle Heimberger and Louis Alwyn Heimberger, both of Dampier, W. Australia; brothers, Steve Heimberger of Alto, and Ron Heimberger of Baldwin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today, June 13.
