Funeral services for Raymond C. Greene, 86, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 11 a.m. today, Feb. 8, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, with the Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in Level Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Greene died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at Habersham Medical Center.

Born Sept. 14, 1925, in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of the late Arthur and Lola Mae Barnes Greene.

Mr. Greene was a United States Army veteran, having proudly served his country during World War II. Mr. Greene retired from the Air Engineering Company in Charlotte, N.C., with 28 years of service.

Survivors include his son, Allan Greene of Mt. Airy; and grandchildren, Kendall Greene and Aspen Greene.
