Funeral services for Michael James Martin, 59, of Cornelia, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating. Burial will be at Pendergrass Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Martin died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.

Born in Hall County, he was the son of Myrtle Raines Martin of Alto and the late Coleman Martin.

Mr. Martin was an owner/operator of his own trucking company for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Helen A. Martin of Cornelia; his mother, Myrtle Raines Martin of Alto; sons, Danny Joe Holcomb of Hoschton, Matthew Martin and his fiancée, Ashley Hayes, of Cornelia, and Joshua Martin of Cornelia; one brother and one sister.
