Funeral services for John Wesley “Buster” Loggins, 81, of Demorest were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Fairfield Baptist Church in Clarkesville with the Rev. Keith Allison, the Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Burial followed in Fairfield Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Loggins died March 16, 2012.

Born May 7, 1930, in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Glen W. and Nancy Butts Loggins.

In addition to being a farmer, Mr. Loggins was once employed by Habersham Metal Products and did security work for Scovill and The Orchard.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Virginia Loggins of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Johnny Roberts of Demorest; daughters, Vickie Davidson of Demorest, Sandra Loggins of Cleveland; and son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Gail Loggins of Demorest. Mr. Loggins is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
