Guitreau, 30, and Hall, 29, both of Louisiana, are charged with one count of murder each.
Eddie Staples, chief assistant district attorney for the Mountain Judicial Circuit, said the two are scheduled to be arraigned on April 26, with motions occurring on May 3. He said May 14 will be the first trial week that Guitreau and Hall could appear before Judge Chan Caudell, though it could possibly be later depending on how long other, prior cases take.
"We indicted several of the older child molestation cases, which are on the same calendar, and we pretty much try them when we can," Staples said. "But it's coming up soon."
October 9 would be the next possible court date if Guitreau and Hall cannot be tried May 14.
"It'll take as long as it takes, and we'll do the best we can," Staples said.
