Funeral services for Donald “Donnie” Dorsey Morrison, 61, of Clarkesville, will be held at 2 p.m. today, June 15, at Hills Crossing Baptist Church in Clarkesville with the Rev. Walter Singletary officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mr. Morrison died June 12, 2012.

Born Aug. 11, 1950, in Fulton County, he was the son of James Edward Morrison and the late Grace Arlene Dorsey Morrison.

Mr. Morrison was a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church. He was an avid animal lover.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, James E. and Laura E. Morrison of Clarkesville; brothers, James Kenneth Morrison of Cumming and Ricky Alan Morrison of Buford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hills Crossing Baptist Church, 3569 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
