Graveside services for William Henry “Bug” Ivester, 82, of Clarkesville, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Ivester died Saturday, July 28, 2012.

Born May 27, 1930, in Habersham County, he was the son of the late Alfred and Flora Littleton Ivester.

Mr. Ivester was a member of The Lighthouse Baptist Church and he was a retired farmer from the Albert Cobb Farm.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Lillian and David Barrs of Clarkesville, Maria and Terry Kaminski of Baldwin, Doris and Scott Youngblood of Toccoa; daughter, Rita Zavala of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Tammy Ivester of Clayton; brothers, Jim Ivester of Clarkesville, John Ivester of Toccoa and Ray Ivester; sister, Margaret Smith of Lula; as well as 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
