A Home-going service for Richard Malone McKinley, 82, of Cleveland, is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at The Bridge Church with the Rev. Patrick Ballington officiating.

Mr. McKinley entered into eternal life with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Aug. 4, 2012, following an extended illness.

Mr. McKinley was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He was a thrill-seeker most of his life, racing boats for Outboard Marine Corporation, Waukegan, Ill. He set world records. Mr. McKinley flew a plane at the Cleveland Airport for his 80th birthday celebration and went skydiving for his 81st. He was a member of The Bridge Church. What a wild ride it’s been.
