Funeral services for Kenneth Chapman Wade, 73, of Cleveland, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Redwine and the Rev. Paul Flynn officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Wade died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born Aug. 8, 1938, in Cleveland, he was the son of Hubert and Cora Chapman Wade. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William Wade, Edward Wade; sisters, Barbara Wade, Edna Wade; and grandparents, Marvin and Ella Chapman and Gordon and Flora Wade.

Mr. Wade was a veteran of the United States Army and loved fishing, the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Wade of Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and John Collins of Cleveland; son, Bryan Kenneth Wade of Cleveland; parents, Hubert and Cora Wade of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Mary Wade of Cleveland; grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsey Talley, Jake Jones, Brooke Wade, Brianna Collins, Emily Jones, Peyton Collins; great-grandson, Connor Talley; and several nieces and nephews.
