Mrs. Hunnicutt died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Habersham Medical Center.
Born Aug. 29, 1933, in Hall County, she was a daughter of the late Hancel and Beulah Leach Armour. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hunnicutt; son, Dwight Robert Hunnicutt; brothers, Charles Armour, Claude Armour; and a sister, Gladys Worley.
Mrs. Hunnicutt was the owner/operator of Pop’s Jelly House in Wiley. She was a great mother and homemaker. Mrs. Hunnicutt was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Anthony Hunnicutt of Toccoa, Terry Lee Hunnicutt of Baldwin; daughter, Tina Cathey McConnell of Baldwin; brothers, Woody Armour, R.B. Armour, both of Lula, Harmon Armour of Cleveland; sisters, Katie Mote of Homer, Susie Bruce and Ellora Cash, both of Lula, Christine Alexander of Commerce; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
