Funeral services for Beulah Sarah Carson, 97, of Clarkesville, will be held at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 21, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Stowe officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Ms. Carson died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at her residence.

Born Jan. 20, 1915, in Rabun County, she was the daughter of the late Frenchman and Addie Nicholson Carson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Stella Pardue; brother, Vaughn Carson; and sister-in-law, Lucille Roberts Carson.

She was retired from Habersham Mills with 42 years of loyal service. Ms. Carson was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for 80 years.

Survivors include her brother, Jay Carson of Clarkesville; sisters, Hazel Loggins of Demorest and Hassie Carson of Clarkesville; as well as 15 nieces and nephews and their children.
