Memorial services for Franklin Lurie Stott, 63, of Demorest, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Main Street Gospel Church, 6459 Main St., Lula, with the Rev. Buster Autry officiating.

Mr. Stott died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born Aug. 1, 1949, in Marianna, Fla., he was the son of the late Randall and Gladys Tiller Stott. He also was preceded in death by his sister, Harriet Little.

He served in the U.S. Army and worked in security. Mr. Stott attended River Point Church in Cornelia.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Stott of Demorest; daughter, Wanda Dimas of Demorest; daughter-in-law, Lisa Skinner of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Michelle McDonald of Toccoa; son, Chad Stott of Gainesville, Fla.; grandson and wife, Dustin and Kezia Moore of Clarkesville; grandsons, Cory McDonald of Clarkesville, Tracy Ayers of Toccoa, Christian McDonald of Clarkesville; granddaughters, Christie McDonald of Demorest, Angel Flores of Demorest, Alicia McDonald of Demorest, Bethany Bowman of Cornelia; great-granddaughter, Josselin R. McDonald of Demorest; brother, Alan Stott of Daytona, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, the Rev. Buster and Raynell Autry of Lula, Johnny and Dorothy Autry of Rockport, Ind., Barry and Cindy Autry of Clarkesville, Jimmy and Cathy Carpenter of Cleveland, Don and Jane Prather of Commerce, Karen Autry of Gainesville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
