Virginia ‘Ginger’ Bower Wunderlich

Funeral services for Virginia “Ginger” Bower Wunderlich, 86, of Demorest, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Demorest Methodist Congregational Federated Church with the Rev. Joyce Acree officiating. Entombment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wunderlich died Monday, April 15, 2013.

Born Oct. 25, 1926, in Salisbury, Md., she was the daughter of the late Ammon William and Eva Bowling Bower. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings. Mrs. Wunderlich attended Demorest Methodist Congregational Federated Church. She was a retired nurse and above all a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Van E. Wunderlich of Demorest; daughter, Joy Lynne Wunderlich of Cleveland, son, Jon Martin Wunderlich of Lawrenceville; sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Donald Ewald of Spring Hill, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Raleigh Wunderlich and Charlotte Wunderlich.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest.
