Funeral services for Nora Patrick Ward, 50, of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., formerly of Cornelia, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, with the Rev. Michael Patrick and Evangelist Morris C. Patrick Sr. officiating. Burial followed in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ward died Sunday, May 26, 2013, following a sudden illness.

Born Feb. 11, 1963, in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Morris C. Patrick Sr. and Jean Smith Patrick of Cornelia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucinda L. Patrick Rogowski; maternal grandparents, Clyde and Sadie Smith; paternal grandparents, Carl and Nellie Parker Patrick; and brother, Morris C. Patrick Jr.

Nora was associated with Gatlinburg Memories in Gatlinburg, Tenn. She was of the Apostolic faith.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Carl W. Ward of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; daughters, Jessica Gilstrap and Jeanelle Crozier, both of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; sister, Marsha Marie Patrick of Cornelia; and eight grandchildren.
