Funeral services for Evelyn Marie “Granny” Ferguson Woodall, 83, of Baldwin, are scheduled for 2 p.m. today, July 17, at the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Sanford Kimbrell, the Rev. Bill Trotter, the Rev. Tony Royston and the Rev. Kendall Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Woodall died Monday, July 15, 2013.

Born Nov. 25, 1929, in Habersham County, she was a daughter of the late Jack Bowden and Ollie Marie Miller Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Clyde Woodall; sister, Bernice Ferguson Ivie; brothers, J.B. and Vernon “Bud” Ferguson.

Mrs. Woodall was a retired seamstress with Carwood Manufacturing and was a member of Baldwin Congregational Holiness Church. She was a lifelong resident of Habersham County and enjoyed shopping in her spare time.

Survivors include daughter, Jackie DeFoor of Baldwin; grandchildren and spouses, Carla and Stacy Smith of Clarkesville, Chad and Lisa Eller of Germany; great-grandchild and spouse, Robin and Andrew Morrow of Toccoa; great-grandchild, Jana Eller of Germany; niece and husband, Linda and Grady Simmemon of Alto; great-niece, Kim Dailey; great-nephews, James and Ricky Simmemon; also numerous friends and family that affectionately knew Mrs. Woodall as “Granny.”
