Memorial services for Eva Johnson Green, 98, of Baldwin, are scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Oct. 2, at Nacoochee Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Prim officiating.

Mrs. Green died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.

Born Aug. 2, 1915, in Munson, Fla., she was a daughter of the late Rev. A.C. Johnson and Virginia Richardson Johnson. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon T. Green, along with eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Green was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Green resided at The Oaks at Scenic View Assisted Living in Baldwin. She worked as administrative assistant to the chief of surgical service for the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Memphis, Tenn., for 40 years. She was a talented pianist and enjoyed playing for church groups, friends and family. Since moving to Georgia, she attended Nacoochee Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in law, Carole and Bill Jackson of Homer, and Sandra and Jim Keif of Ocala, Fla.; grandchildren, Barth and Amy Jackson of Athens, Jennifer and Jack Brinson of Raleigh, N.C., Cathy Nelson of Dayton, Ohio, Jeff and Holly McCaskill of Hernando, Miss.; great-grandchildren, Casey and Kevin Nelson, Griffin and Jessica Jackson, Myles, Georgie and Sophie McCaskill, Jackson and Charlie Queen.
