Graveside services for Dorothy Susie Hopper, 63, of East Point, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopper died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, following a period of declining health.

Born March 4, 1950, in Rabun County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Juanita Justus Hopper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Hopper and Jack Hopper.

Ms. Hopper graduated from North Habersham High School in 1968. She was a Peace Corps volunteer and served in Nicaragua and Central America. Ms. Hopper graduated from Berry College in 1972, and she worked for the State of Georgia in the Income Tax Division. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

Survivors include her brother, J.M. Rogers of Clayton; sisters, Dr. Margaret Hopper of Atlanta and Diane Hopper of Clarkesville; aunts, Savannah Welborn, Virginia Ivester, Ailene Love and Leola Brown; uncles, James Justus and Curtis Justus; nieces, Aimee Smith of Clarkesville and Karen Rogers Brabson and family of Clayton; and nephew, Ikie Rogers of Clayton.
