Mr. Pollard died Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
Born March 25, 1969, in Clayton, he was a son of the late James and Katherine Davenport Pollard. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Echols, Stanley Echols, Hoyt Pollard and Tom Pollard.
Mr. Pollard was employed with Habersham County Emergency Medical Service as an EMT with 14 years of service; he also served as the assistant fire chief with the city of Baldwin and fire chief with Banks County Fire Department.
Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Stacy Trapp Pollard of Alto; daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Kevin Masters of Alto, Cassie and Jordan Fincher of Cleveland; daughter, Mariah Jacobs of Alto; sisters, Nell Hobgood of Sandy Springs, Delores Crane of Clayton, Nina Long of Social Circle, Vicki Harmon of Toccoa; brothers, Rick Echols of Cornelia, Ricky Pollard of Waynesville, N.C., Terry Pollard of Virginia; and grandsons, Ayden Masters and Abraham Fincher.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, June 13, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin.
