Ethelyn Savage Brock
Funeral services for Ethelyn Savage Brock, 82, of Baldwin, were held 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with the Rev. Greg Brock and the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment followed in Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tim House officiating.
Mrs. Brock passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.
Born in Baldwin on Sept. 13, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Martha Ann Segars Savage. Mrs. Brock was a 1954 graduate of South Habersham High School. She was a homemaker and member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock enjoyed spending time with her family and was Granny to everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ila Mae and Pete Brock; and brother-in-law, Ezell Brock.
Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Duckett Brock of Baldwin; daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Gene Swinehart and Gail and Leon Brock all of Baldwin; grandchildren and spouses, Hope and Brandon Adams and Adam and Candice Swinehart all of Baldwin and Brock and Kate Wilson and Drew and Ruth Wilson all of Jefferson; great-grandchildren, David Adams, Emily Adams, Olivia Swinehart, Stella Swinehart, Makenzie Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Dulaney Wilson, Ridley Wilson, Collins Wilson, Burch Wilson and Boone Wilson; nephews and spouses, Carter and Rebecca Brock and Buford and Dickie Brock, all of Baldwin, Leaford and Frances Brock of Ranburn, Alabama and Roy and Terry Brock of Alto; niece, Glenda Waters of Demorest; other nieces and nephews.
