James Bryan Lovell
Funeral services for James Bryan Lovell, 63, of Clarkesville, were held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Hills Crossing Baptist Church. The Rev. Tony Goss officiated and interment followed the service at Yonah Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lovell passed away Jan. 1, 2019.
Born on July 1, 1955, in Stephens County, Mr. Lovell was the son of Hebron and Peggy Wooten Lovell. Mr. Lovell was retired from Northeast Georgia Medical Center, and he was a member and deacon at Hills Crossing Baptist Church. Mr. Lovell was a member of the Georgia Mountain Shooting Association and a member of the International Benchrest Shooters (IBS).
Survivors include his wife, Judy Dill Lovell of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and Katie Lovell of Alto and Jordan and Sasha Lovell of Lula; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Jerry Thomason of Mt. Airy, Janet and Ricky Wilbanks of Baldwin and Dianne and Jimmy Perry of Mt. Airy, as well as granddaughters, Maddison and Morgan Lovell of Alto.
