Willie Loggins Loudermilk
Funeral services for Willie Loggins Loudermilk, 76, of Cornelia, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Sanford Kimbrell and the Rev. Greg Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the East View Cemetery.
Mrs. Loudermilk passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019.
Born May 14, 1942, in Cornelia, she was the daughter of the late William Fulton "Bill" Loggins and Etta House Loggins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene "Gene-Bo" Loudermilk; granddaughter, Kim Davidson; great-granddaughter, Eunice J. Lockhoff; and brother, David Loggins.
Willie was a nursing graduate of the North Georgia Technical College and retired as a med/surg clerk with Habersham Medical Center with 33 years of dedicated service. She was an avid quilter/crafter and was best known for her handmade Christmas stockings. Willie was a member of Good News Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Richard "Rick" and Stephanie Loudermilk of Toccoa, and William Scott and Myra Loudermilk of Caddo Mills, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Butch Davis of Clarkesville, and Sheila and Donald Davidson of Demorest; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers and sister-in-law, Joseph Loggins, John E. and Lynn Loggins, all of Mt. Airy, and James Loggins of Toccoa; other special family, James and Donna Funk, Tracy Ruark, and Tonya Ward all of Homer; special quilting friends, Annie Mae Looney, Joan Akins, Alberta Price, Cindy Smith, and The Currahee Quilters; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
Flowers are accepted or memorial donations in memory of Willie Loggins Loudermilk may be made to the Habersham Medical Center Foundation c/o The Love Light Tree, 541 Historic Hwy. 441, Demorest, GA 30535.
