VOTER GUIDE: Early voting starts April 29; primary election is May 21

   The candidates for president earn a lot of headlines, but most often it is our local public officials who can change our individual and community destinies.

   Early voting runs from April 29 to May 10, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Elections Office/South Precinct in Cornelia. There will be Saturday voting May 4 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. voting from May 13-17.

   At the Habersham North Precinct at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatics Center in Clarkesville, there will be Saturday voting May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and advance voting May 13-17 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
