Funeral services for Mark Jackson Dodd, 38, of Rock Road, Mt. Airy, was held Friday, Aug. 13, at Chopped Oak Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Burns officiating. Interment followed in Chopped Oak Baptist Church Cemetery
Mr. Dodd passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021 at his residence.
Born March 14, 1983, in Stephens County, he was the son of Randy M. Dodd and the late Marsha Ann Reed Dodd, he lived most of his life in Habersham County.
He was an auto mechanic, was of the Baptist faith and loved his family and loved to fish.
Survivors include his father, Randy Dodd of Colquitt; wife of the home, Kristie McAllister Dodd; daughter and son of the home, Emily and Ben Dodd; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leah and Richie Thibeault of Alto, and Lyndsey and David Robertson of Gainesville; grandmother, Donna Dodd of Charlotte, North Carolina; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Keith and Elaine Smith of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a number of nieces and nephews.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers, Dusty Craig, Joel Cash, Carlton Walters, Brian Tingle, James Prichard and Josh Bowden.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Hillcrest Crematory were in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Mark Jackson Dodd.
