The 12th Annual VFL Rubber Duck Race will be held on Saturday, May 20 at Clarkesville’s 61st Annual Mountain Laurel Festival.
More than 2,500 yellow rubber ducks will drop into the Soque River at 2 PM sharp from Sutton Bridge on Highway 197 and race to the finish line. You can purchase your tickets and get your duck(s) in the race by clicking on the VFL website below or scanning the QR code.

VFL’s yellow rubber ducks are more than ready and able to race a quarter mile down the Soque River to determine the winners of $1,000, $500 and $250! Each one is bound and determined to be a winner. Invest $5 and one duck will swim for you. For $25 FIVE ducks will swim for you. Or donate $100 for literacy and 25 ducks will swim for you!
Volunteers, including members of Boy Scout Troop 5, will be waiting at the finish line to scoop up the first, second and third place ducks which will win $1,000 (first duck to cross), $500 (second duck to cross) and $250 (third duck to cross) for the holders of the tickets that match the number written on the ducks’ bottoms.
