Habersham Community Theater will present “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” in eight shows over the next two weeks.
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live
1940s radio broadcast.
With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
“It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” had its final rehearsal at Habersham Community Theater on Wednesday night.
The show opened Thursday and will have a 7:30 p.m. show Friday, Dec. 2, along with two shows (2 and 7:30 p.m.) Saturday, Dec. 3, and a Sunday matinee Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.
Next week’s shows are Dec. 8-9 (7:30 p.m.), Dec. 10 (2 and 7:30 p.m.) and Dec. 11 (2 p.m.).
