The Habersham Chamber is seeking Chamber member businesses and volunteer extras for a community-wide photo/video shoot scheduled from Wednesday, Sept. 28 to Friday, Sept. 30.

The photos/videos will be taken by h2O Creative Group, as part of the “My Mountain Moment/Visit Habersham” tourism video, and will include people downtown, lifestyle shots and drone photography.

“This is a continuation of the award-winning ‘My Mountain Moment’ hype video, produced last year,” said Mary Beth Horton, Chamber President. “Following its success, and its reach on social media, this photo shoot will showcase more of our small-businesses, people and lifestyle.”

The photos will be used for marketing materials, including the Chamber website, advertisements, social media and magazines among others.

Volunteers can meet in the general locations below during the allotted time as an extra for this photoshoot. The crews will be moving quickly in and out various businesses and attractions, so be on the lookout for any crews. We encourage you to shop around, hang out, grab a meal and enjoy yourself while they capture photographs.

Volunteers are not required to RSVP but when possible, should let the Habersham Chamber know by emailing president@habershamchamber.com if they intend to be there.

In case of rain or bad weather, Horton will notify everyone those she’s heard from and update the Facebook page if the shoot is postponed.

The Visit Habersham campaign highlights the community’s numerous local businesses, beautiful landmarks, adventure, recreation and charming attractions in an effort to promote all of Habersham County for visitors looking to travel to the area.

Tentative schedule for shooting:

Wednesday, Sept. 28: 2-6 p.m., Downtown Clarkesville, Various Locations;

Thursday, Sept. 29: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Downtown Cornelia, Various Locations;

Friday, Sept. 30: 8 a.m. to noon, Various Locations across county.
