Private family graveside services for Adron Virginia Stonecypher, 92, of Demorest, will be held at Hills Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Stonecypher passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021. 

Born Aug. 9, 1928, in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the late Payton and Annie Mae Ramey Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Henry Luther "HL" Stonecypher; sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Vera Hammond, Ora Sullivan, and Ruth Welch.  

Mrs. Stonecypher was a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Toccoa Eastern Star No. 294 and the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, where she served in both groups for over 50 years. Mrs. Stonecypher was a graduate of Clarkesville High School.  

Survivors include her daughter, Edna Stonecypher, of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dennis DuVan of Mesa, Arizona; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Peggy Taylor of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Dennis J. DuVan Jr. of Fairfield, Ohio, and Cherish Duty of Grand Cayman Island; seven great-grandchilren; and three great-great grandchildren. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Baldwin.
