Barbara was known to many as "Mema." Mrs. De Lorenzo is described as a woman of all talents, from butcher, baker, candlestick maker, to florist, restaurant owner, artist, farmer, professional roller skater, and perfect wife, mother, and friend. She was a very giving person. She loved volunteering with churches, the humane society, local florist, and the garden club. For those who knew her, they knew her love language was food.

Airy and Viki Griffith and Glenn Griffith of Gainesville; granddaughter and spouse, Emily Reid and Patrick Reid of Meriden, Connecticut; as well as a host of other adopted grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.

The family has asked that if you prefer, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to your favorite charity of choice in Barbara's name.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitfield Funeral Home South Chapel, Baldwin.
