Funeral services for Clark Monroe "Ricky" Gunn, 65, of Lula, were held Monday, June 6, at Hillside Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Connie Berry officiated. Interment followed in Demorest City Cemetery.

Mr. Gunn took his heavenly flight home to be with the Lord Friday, June 3, 2022.

Born July 30, 1956, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Homer Gunn and the late Kathryn Maughon Gunn Duncan.

Ricky retired after many years of being a self-employed carpenter. He was a very loving person and always willing to help others. Ricky enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, tending to his animals, and was an accomplished artist. He was a loving husband, devoted brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Ricky will be missed beyond measure.

Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Judy Elaine Gunn of Lula; children, Jennifer and Anthony DeFoor of Mount Airy, Gregory Clark Gunn of Clarkesville, and John Watts of Toccoa; brother, Anthony Gunn of Clarkesville; sisters, Audrey Wilson and Kathy Canup, both of Demorest, and Shelia Williams, Robin Matthews, and Karen Cash, all of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Corvin Nero Parham, Colston Shoal Moulder, Asher Declan Moulder, Kinley Breann DeFoor, Avery William DeFoor, Ian Ander Oakes DeFoor, Adia Enna Ryn DeFoor,  Connor Dale Allen, Zadie Keegan Lyric Pitts, Lyla Susan Diane Rowell, Katelynn Abigail Thomas, Anna Marie Watts, Cameron Blake Watts, and Evelyn Grace Watts; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; and a host of friends.
