Clifford Louis 'Cliff' Sandoz

A celebration of life service for Clifford Louis "Cliff" Sandoz, 69, of Demorest, was held Saturday, Nov. 23, at Hillside Memorial Chapel in Clarkesville, with Deacon Richard Marinchak serving as celebrant. 

Mr. Sandoz passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019.

Born April 28, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Charles Claudius Sandoz and Gloria Houin Sandoz. 

Cliff was a graduate of Samford University with a master's degree in environmental science as well as a graduate of Loyola University with a master's degree in business administration. He was an entrepreneur of many business ventures including Acadian Services and Crescent Investments. Cliff was a very dedicated builder and friend to many. He attended St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville. 

In his spare time, Cliff enjoyed boat rides on Lake Chatuge, rides on the Gator ATV, and eating Cajun foods. Most of all, he enjoyed precious time with his family, especially his grandchildren and grand dogs. Cliff will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Doris Eubanks Sandoz of Demorest; daughters and son-in-law, Leigh Anne Holland of Suwanee; Mendi Sandoz and Daniel Klimek of Greenville, South Carolina; brother, Wesley Sandoz; sisters, Debbie Sandoz Lier and Judith Sandoz Diket, all of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Sydney Jenkins, Skylar Jenkins, Bryleigh Holland and Buddy Holland; good friends, Carl Jr. and Valerie Loudermilk of Demorest; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Cliff''s wishes were to be cremated.
