Graveside services were held for David Andrew Loudermilk, 59, of Nicholson, formerly of Mount Airy, Saturday, Nov. 13, at Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Burrell and the Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiated.

  Mr. Loudermilk went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2021.

  Born Jan. 30, 1962, in Demorest, he was a son of the late Carl Fletcher and Clara Pitts Loudermilk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Exie Burrell Loudermilk; sister, Maxine McDuffie; and brother-in-law, Roger Ansley.

  David was a 1979 graduate of Habersham Central High School and enjoyed cattle farming for most of his life. He was a member of Community Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday School teacher. Most of all, David enjoyed spending precious time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter and fiancé, Amber Loudermilk and Bruce Harper of Nicholson; son, Andrew Loudermilk of Franklin, North Carolina; grandchildren, Rylee Faye Harper and Brandon Alan James York; sister, Wilma Ansley of Cornelia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Jr. and Valerie Loudermilk of Demorest and Lamar Marty and  Amanda Loudermilk of Mount Airy; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
